Having introduced the battery into its accommodation, press on the button Play / Stop Your player will position on the Mode Menu. 2. Press briefly on the button M (Menu) 3. A frame(executive) with the word "Music" will display briefly to confirm the initialization of the memory of your player 4. You can use your carefree walkman Kadance Memup, by copying all your favourite musics, by creating your directories, ect ... 5. Watch however not to copy your audio files in this directory because they cannot be seen in function music (reading of audio file). Indeed, this directory MICIN.DIR is reserved for the recordings realized by the function dictaphone. Carefull: a permanent message " no file " will appear in mode music as long as you will not proceed to this operation of initialization. - Under Windows 98 and SE, you have to download from the CD included or from the website / directory "Driver" www.memup.com. The CD is autorunning. NOTE :if you have a product with the letter « K » download the Driver K if you have a product with the letter « U » download the Driver U - Connect the USB cable to your computer as follows. - After the MP3 Player is connected to your PC, the following will be displayed on the LCD. Make sure the lock key is unlocked, if the player lock, it will be auto shut off circuit when power on. Power on: Push the PLAY/STOP key for an extended time. Player will be powered on. Power off: Push the PLAY/STOP key for an extended time to power off the player. Connect the earphone to the earphone jack. Push PLAY button to start playing IN THE PLAYING MODE: RE-READING MODE: ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Press PRE/NEXT to go forward or back a track Press and hold PRE/NEXT to fast forward and rewind Press PLAY button to pause playing Press -/+ button to decrease/increase the volume. In play mode, press A-B (Product with `'K'') or `'M'' (product with `'U'') button to confirm the starting point A Again press A-B (Product with `'K'') or `'M'' (product with `'U'') button to confirm the finishing point B, Then the player will replay the content from point A to point B. Press A-B (Product with `'K'') or normal playing status. `'M'' (product with `'U'') button and the player will be set to the 1. Press and hold Play button to until the player turns on; 2. Press "M" button to enter the main menu; 3. Press Pre/Next to select Folder 4. Press "M" button to enter Folder. 5. Press "M" button to Select Play now/Delete. 6. Press "M" button to delete file. EDITING THE SYNCHRO SONG LYRIC 1).Open the notepad to edit the synchro lyrics of a song; Description of the format (MM:SS) lyric texts... (Change lines) 2). Save the file which has the same name of the song and an ".LRC" extension after editing it. 3). Upload the file with the edited lyrics to the player; Press and hold The Mode in the playing mode; the synchro lyrics of the song appear. 1. Press and hold Play button to until the player turns on; 2. Press and hold "M" to enter 3. Press PRE/Next button to select the Voice; 4. Press "M" button to enter, Press REC to start recording. 5. Press Play button to start recording. 1. Press and hold Play button to until the player turns on; 2. Press and hold "M" to enter 3. Press PRE/Next button to select the Voice; 4. Press "M" to enter the voice playing mode; 5. Press Play button to start playing; 6. Press +/- button to increase/decrease the volume; 1. Press and hold Play button to until the player turns on; 2. Press "M" to enter Setting up system. the settings available are Equaliser: Play mode: Contrast: Backlight: Power set: Record set: Language: Exit: Note : with the product `'U'' you can choose the color of the backlight EQUALIZER MODE - In the Setting menu. Go to EQ, press "M" button to confirm - Use pre/net to select to desire EQ. - Press "M" button to confirm - The choices are: Normal: Pop: Rock: Classical: Jazz: Bass. - To leave the menu without changing REPEAT MODE - This allows you to repeat track or shuffle their play order - In the Setting menu. Go to play mode - Press "M" button to confirm - Use Pre/Next button select to play mode - The choices are: Normal: Repeat one: Repeat all: Shuffle Repeat: Dir normal: Dir All normal: Dir shuffle repeat. With the product `'U'', you can choose : Normal, Repeat one, Repeat all, shuffle, intro. - Press "M" button to confirm SETTING CONTRAST MODE SETTING THE BACKLIGHT MODE This allow you to control the time the backlight is it, The longer the backlight stays on ,the faster you will exhaust you battery. - In the Setting mode, go to Backlight - Use Pre/Next to adjust the backlight on time from 0(Always off)-5 sec:-10 sec-Always on With the product `'U'' :5, 10, 30, always On and always Off - Press "M" button to confirm SETTING POWERSET MODE You can set the player to switch off after a preset time - with the product `'U'' : disable / 1min / 2min / 5min / 10min ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ In the Setting mode, go to Contrast. Press Pre/Next adjust to contrast Press "M" button to confirm and Exit. In the setting mode, navigate to Power. Press "M" to confirm. The choice are: Disable :2 min:10 min:30 mins Press "M" button to confirm and exit SETTING RECORDSET MODE SETTING LANGUAGE MODE Supported language :English, French, German, Spanis, Italian ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ In the setting mode, navigate to Record set Press "M" to confirm. Use Pre/Next to select 32kb/s:-44kb/-64kb/s-88kb/s Press "M" button to confirm and exit. In the setting mode, navigate to Language Press "M" button to confirm Use Pre/Next to select language. Press "M" button to confirm and exit. No Power - Check whether the battery have been inserted properly. - Check whether Volume is set "0" and connect the headphone plugs firmly. No sound is heard from headphone. Characters in LCD are corrupted Download of music files fails. - Check whether the headphone plug is dirty. - Corrupted MP3 may make a static noise and the sound may cut off. Make sure that the music files are not corrupted. - Check whether the right language has been selected. - Check whether USB cable is damaged and is connected properly. - Check whether driver is installed correctly. -Check whether the player's memory is full.
