The product is a Multi Purpose Digital Audio Player that is easy to us and stylish in design and is complemented by a built-in FM Radio and a voice recording function. The player is equipped with `solid state' internal memory and a display system with negative graphic LCD for even better on screen clarity. Benefiting from Plug & Play technology installation CD's are not required for most PC Users*, combined with this the unit can also be used as a mass storage device for all those `important or not so important' files. Battery Power Indicator
At its initial start-up, the remaining battery indicator may fluctuate. After 5 or 6 seconds, the display will show the actual reading. (Based on the inserted battery ) (Full) (Medium) (Low) Due to the characteristics of regular batteries, there can be situations when the product does not operate even when the battery level indicator shows above medium level. When this happens, please exchange the batteries with new ones. (Alkaline batteries last longer than manganese batteries) Exchange batteries when the following happens: The indicator displays "Low battery" sign. The player stops or does not respond to pushing buttons. LCD light does not turn on when buttons on the main body are pushed. Type Alkaline battery MP3 Play 12 hours(alkaline 1.5V AAA×1)
Open the battery case cover on the back by pushing the tip in the direction of arrow using a finger / fingernail.

- Recognized as a mass storage, the player can upload and download files without a separate software installation. - To mark your lyrics, follow the installation instructions.

For Windows 98SE users: install the software first before using the player. (Otherwise, the player cannot be recognized as a mass storage device on your PC.)

If the Setup file does not auto run, browse the setup.exe file from the CD-ROM.

As well as playing music, you may also use the product to upload/download any other data files (*.jpg, *.xls, *.doc,....) to/from the PC as a portable disk.

When running the Recovery Mode for the first time in Windows XP, install the Player Recovery Device" as instructed by the PC.

HOLD (Lock Function)
HOLD(Lock) is set with a padlock icon displaying for 3 seconds on the LCD when you slide the HOLD switch on the back of the products as shown below.

Please Note!
You can only listen to the saved file after entering Voice Recording Mode. (The voice file can not be played back in the Music Playing MODE) After recording the voice file will be saved as a ADPCM file with the extension of ADP at the end of the file name.
The functions for Play/Stop/Volume Control/ FF, REW are the same as in the MUSIC Playing MODE.
The volume is automatically adjusted in the recording. When the memory is full, the voice recording will automatically stop and the file is saved only until that point. The sensitivity of the voice recording may vary according to the distance between the product and the voice source. Malfunctions may occur if battery is removed or the batteries power is exhausted unexpectedly, recorded file may not play.

Searching Frequencies Automatically
A pink LED flashes when playing the FM radio. It also blinks when setting the LED time. (see page 42) The functions for Play/Stop/Volume Control are the same as MUSIC Playing MODE in control Player searches for a frequency by incrementing/decrementing when you push and hold the FF/REW button for longer than 5 seconds. The auto setting is fixed at the frequency with high reception rate during the search.

It is possible to select the automatic power save time for non usage (Disable/1 min/2 min/3 min/10 min) in Pause/Stop status. - Disable: The power will not turn off automatically.

This mode enables you to set `the playback function to one of the following "NORMAL -> INTRO -> REPEAT 1 -> REPEAT-ALL -> RANDOM 1 -> RANDOM-ALL".
Normal : plays all music files once sequentially
Sleep Mode
It is possible to select the Sleep Mode to turn the power off automatically after a preset time. (Disable/10 min/20 min/30 min/60 min) in Pause/Stop/Play status.
Intro : plays only the intros of all music files sequentially Repeat 1 : plays the selected music file repeatedly Repeat All : plays all stored music files repeatedly Random 1 : plays music in a random fashion and stops after playing all the music files once.
- Disable: The power will not turn off automatically.
Random All : same as Random 1 mode, but keeps on playing repeatedly without stopping
