User Guide WU830G Wireless USB Adapter Powe r Link This device must be installed and used in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions as described in the user documentation that comes with the product. FCC Compliance Class B Digital Device This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. With the WU830G, your laptop or desktop computer is free to join and enjoy all the benefits of an 802.11b/g wireless home or small office network. Once connected, accessing a single broadband connection with everyone else on the network is simple and fun. You can also share files, pictures, peripherals, printers, and more. You'll need one WU830G for each computer. Because your WU830G works with USB 2.0 (and is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1), you'll be able to enjoy blazing fast speeds on your wireless network. Since the WU830G receives its power from the USB port, there is no extra power plug to overload your power strip. The WU830G complies with the 802.11b and the new, nearly 5-times-faster, 802.11g wireless standard. With Wi-Fi® Protected Access (WPA) included, your wireless connections are robust and secure, giving you the confidence to communicate without fear that the signal could be compromised.
