ACROBAT INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Now that the frame is assembled the seat and back inserts can now be put on, this makes the frame more rigid. Find the location hooks on the base of the seat these need to be hooked around the hexagonal pegs found on each seat cane . The front end is located first then the back, and its locked into place by pulling the metal cable down , the seat should then locate into the location pegs. The back then is connected in a similar manner with the top pegs being located first (Dia. C) then the metal cable is pulled downwards and the bottom hooks lock in the pegs (Dia. D). The detachable foot plate is connected by hooking the metal castings over the toothed casting (make sure the clamping mechanism is fully released to allow the castings to fit freely. Once you have the desired angle set, push in on the spring loaded pin and push the lever down. (make sure the teeth fit snuggly toghether) To swing away the footrests pull up the locking mechanism and rotate the footrest in the required direction.

Pull upwards on the black knob so that the bar is freed from its resting position, swivel armrest round and re-locate in either one of the notches. Make sure both sides are in same position other wise the tray and arm rests will not be parrallel.
To prepare the armrests for tray mounting, you need to push in the metal nipple this enables the armrest to telescope, re-locate the nipple in the hole at the end of the rest.
The tray can be located in any of the holes along the telescoping tube, this is done by pulling out the ring pulls on either side of the tray and just setting it on the tubes releasing the pins allows the tray to lock into the desired holes. To hide away armrest just do above in reverse order.
ACROBAT INSTRUCTION MANUAL
To enbable the trunk pad to swing away pull out on the ring pull and pull pad towards you, push the pad back to lock into place. To engage the wheel brake, push lever away from you. once the brake clicks into position the wheel is locked. to release the brake, pull the lever towards you.
To enable the chair to tilt to a max. 35 degrees, you need to pull up on the trigger release on the push handles. Both sides need to be lifted similtaneously, tilt the chair to the desired angle and release triggers, the chair then locates into another locking position. (push down/back on the push handles to ensure that the chair is locked into position)
The anti-tippers can swing away for when the chair is not in use or when folding the chair up to make it more compact. Simply swing the wheel clockwise and the anti-tipper will move inwards.
MULHOLLAND POSITIONING SYSTEMS
To disengage the flip down abductor pull the ring pull, this moves a locking pin which allows the abductor to flip down. Allows easy access for the user to the seat. Once user is sitting flip up the abductor until it clicks into position.
The thoracic pad is swing-away. Simply pull outwards on the ring pull and the Pad can be swung either way. Again this feature can be used for when fitting or removing the user.
Pushing down on the Black knob allows the hip support to be lowered and raised. Once released just flip the support either direction, the support locks when it points towards the seat.
ACROBAT INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This needs to be done with the seat insert removed. To make the seat width wider you need to unscrew the allen screw and Hook Nut. Take the allen screw out completely, this allows the inner tube to extend and therefore widening the seat area. (For wider seat inserts call customer service at Mulholland) By turning the Screw head clockwise you are compressing the spring which then sets the compressiveness of the back insert and canes when the user jerks. (ie. the more turns on the screw head the stiffer the back canes get and the less the user can jerk)
