MAGIC LIFT The Magic Lift was designed to aide in bath positioning, while allowing the caregiver to lift the child down into and out of the tub. The raise and lower mechanism is a hand operated lever which enables the lift to be quickly mounted and removed from the tub without permanent fixtures. The variable width mechanism allows the lift to fit tubs between 24 and 27 wide. When removed from the tub, the whole unit is only 4 wide and can be slipped behind a door for storage. Fits children weighing up to 90 lbs. and a maximum of 30 measured from the bottom of their buttocks to Only $750 Instructions 1. With the unit in a locked position, the black latch (c) turned to lock the handle in place, place the lift on to the tub. The legs (a) should be adjusted so that the unit fits securely in the tub. 2. Place the child in the unit, fastening the strap between their legs (b), the waist strap and one, or both, chest straps. (If the straps are incorrectly placed, remove the child from the bath chair and readjust the strap placement under the netting). 3. Turn the black locking latch (c) to unlock the handle. RECHECK THE WATER TEMPERATURE. Slowly raise the handle (d) to lower him down into the tub. 4. To raise the child out of the tub, first bring their hands to the middle before raising the lift handle. (If further support is needed to maintain their hands in the middle, the upper strap can be placed around the trunk and arms.) Precautions 1. Never leave a child unattended in the bathtub! 2. Always check the water temperature before lowering the child into the water. 3.
