Making your first call 1 With the phone battery removed, insert your SIM card. Install and charge the battery. To answer a call press . EMERGENCY CALLS Ensure the phone is switched on and in service. If the word "Clear" appears on the display above the key, press and hold Clear . to clear the display. Enter the emergency number, then press Give your location. Do not end the call until told to do so.
