Making your first call

Adjusting earpiece Press the volume keys on the side of the volume phone. Last number redial Press in the standby mode to access the list of last dialled numbers. Scroll with or to the desired number and press . Calling your voice mailbox Press and hold . If the phone asks for the voice mailbox number, key it in and press OK.

Phone book functions
Quick save Quick find Key in the phone number and press Save. Key in the name and press OK. In the standby mode, press , key in the first letter of the name, scroll with or to the desired name. Press Options during a call, then scroll to Names and press Select.

Entering / Exiting Press Menu, scroll with or to the a menu desired menu function and press Select. / Press to exit a menu function without changing its settings and return to the standby mode.

To answer a call press . EMERGENCY CALLS Ensure the phone is switched on and in service. Press as many times as needed (e.g. to exit a call, to exit a menu, etc.) to clear the display. Enter the emergency number, then press . Give your location. Do not end the call until told to do so. INFRARED PRECAUTIONS Do not point the IR beam at anyones's eyes or allow it to interfere with other IR devices.

General information

Labels on the phone
Your phone has labels on it. These are important for service and related purposes, so be careful not to lose the label or the information it contains.
Security code
The security code 12345 is supplied with your phone. To avoid unauthorised use of your phone, change the code in menu Settings, 4-6-6-1. Keep the new code secret and in a safe place which is separate from your phone.
Network services
The wireless phone described in this guide is approved for use on the GSM900, GSM1800 and EGSM900 networks. NOTE: Dual band functionality is a network dependent feature. Check with your local operator if you can subscribe to and use this functionality. A number of features included in this guide are called network services. They are special services provided by wireless service providers. Before you can take advantage of any of these network services, you must subscribe to these service(s) from your home service provider and obtain instructions for their use.
