ENGLISH INTRODUCTION Welcome to our line of fine desktop business machines. We are sure that the desktop electronic adding machine/calculator will satisfy your calculating requirements for Euro currency and European single monetary union recommendations. User safety Connect the machine to an easily accessible power outlet. The plug serves as safety circuit breaker. Access the printing assembly only to replace accessories. Do not obstruct ventilation areas located in the top part of the machine; do not use the machine over or near heat sources (e.g. radiators) or near water (e.g. pools or showers). To clean it, disconnect it from the power outlet, use a damp cloth and do not use corrosive liquids. The tax rate is programmed with the [RATE] key and the programmed tax can be included or excluded in a calculation by pressing the [ ] and [LOCAL] keys. NP position Printer is activated only when the () key or Non-add/Date key is pressed. EURO position Printing is automatically activated. The EURO rate is programmed by pressing the [RATE] key, while EURO - Local currency conversions can be performed ] and [LOCAL] keys. by pressing the [ KEYPAD RATE Tax/EURO preset; enter EURO to Local conversion rate with the slide switch set to EURO, enter the tax rate with it set to TAX or NP. LOCAL Local/Tax exclude; converts displayed value to Local currency when the slide switch is set to EURO, calculates the amount without tax (eventually set with the RATE key) when the slide switch is set to TAX or NP. EURO/Tax include; converts displayed value to EURO when the slide switch is set to EURO, calculates the amount with tax (as set with the RATE key) when the slide switch is set to TAX or NP). Subtotal; when slide switch is set to Tax or EURO, the item counter number is also printed. Total; prints and clears the accumulator. When the slide switch is set to Tax or EURO, the item counter number is also printed. M M * Memory Keys: * M M * Memory Plus/Minus; adds/subtracts an amount to/from memory. If a live calculation is pending, pressing this key will complete the calculation and accumulate/subtract the result to/from memory.
