Powering On the Projector
1. Removethelenscap. 2. Securelyconnectthepowercordandsignalcable.When connected,thepowerledwillturnred. 3. Turnonthelampbypressing" "buttononthecontrol panel. The power led will now flash blue. Thestartupscreenwilldisplayinapproximately30seconds. The first time you use the projector, you can select your preferredlanguagefromquickmenuafterthestartupscreen display. 4. Turnonyoursourcethatyouwanttodisplayonthescreen (computer, notebook, video player, etc). The projector will detectthesourceautomaticallyandwilldisplayonthe screen.Ifnot,pushmenubuttonandgoto"Options".Make surethatthe"SourceLock"hasbeensetto"Off". Ifyouconnectedmultiplesourcesatthesametime,pressthe "Source"buttononthecontrolpanelordirectsourcekeyon theremotecontroltoswitchbetweeninputs.

1. Pressthe" "buttontoturnofftheprojector.Thefollowing messagewillbedisplayedonthescreen.
Pressthe" " button again to confirm the shut down. If thebuttonisnotpressed,themessagewilldisappearin5 seconds. 2. Thecoolingfanscontinuetooperateforabout60secondsfor cooling cycle and the Power LED will flash blue. When the lightssolidred,theprojectorhasenteredstandbymode. Ifyouwishtoturntheprojectorbackon,youmustwait untiltheprojectorhascompletedthecoolingcycleandhas enteredstandbymode.Onceinstandbymode,simplypress " "buttontorestarttheprojector. 3. Disconnectthepowercordfromtheelectricaloutletandthe projector. 4. Donotturnontheprojectorimmediatelyfollowingapower offprocedure.
Warning Indicator
Whenthe"LAMP"indicatorledislitred,theprojectorwill automaticallyshutdown.PleasecallthenearestOptoma facilityforassistance. When the "TEMP" indicator flashes red, it indicates the projectorhasoverheated.Theprojectorwillshutdownautomatically. Undernormalconditions,theprojectorcanbeswitchedon againafterithascooleddown. When the "LAMP" indicator flashes red, it indicates the fan hasfailed.

The projector is equipped with elevator feet for adjusting the image height.
To raise the image: 1. Presstheelevatorbutton. 2. aisetheimagetothedesiredheightangle,thenrelease R thebuttontolocktheelevatorfeetintoposition. 3. Usescrewinfeet to fine-tune the display angle. To lower the image: 1. Presstheelevatorbutton. 2. owertheimage,thenreleasethebuttontolocktheelevaL torfeetintoposition. 3. Usescrewinfeet to fine-tune the display angle.

Adjusting the Projector's Zoom / Focus
TurntheZoomLevertozoominorzoomout.Tofocusthe image,turnthefocusringuntilyouseeaclearimage.The projector will focus at distances from 4.9 to 41.0 feet (1.5 to 12.5 meters) and the projection screen size from 0.68m~7.75m (26.77"~305.22") at 16:9 mode with mechanical travel.
