The system could be damaged or the cabinet warped. Avoid placing the system near a source of heat or exposing it to sunlight (even through a window). Similarly, excessively low temperatures and humidity could damage the device. Always unplug the system from the mains during a thunderstorm or if Parrot BOOMBOX you will not be using it for a certain amount of time.
