The functions of the player are introduced in this manual in detail. Please read it carefully before using. Caution of Operation 1 Don't squeeze or cast the player to break the plastic case. 2 Don't operate the player in bathroom in high humidity or near the high temperature environment. 3 Don't direct press the LCD panel to damage the display surface. 4 Please do not use the player with earphone while driving an vehicle or riding a bicycle, It is not only dangerous, but also against the law. Skip Forward: Press and hold the button, time of track will skip forward fast. go to nextIn the menu option, press the button to go to the next menu. Volume up Press the button or press and hold the button , then volume will turn up Volume down Press the button or press and hold the button, then volume will turn down. A-B Repeat 11 Repeat: In the play state, press the button Mode and player the repeat to be the beginning. A is displayed on the screen; press the button Mode to set it as ending. A-B is displayed on the screen. The player will repeat between the beginning point and the ending point. If you want to cancel the repeat between the two points, you need only to press the button Mode. At the same time, the signal A-B will disappear and turn to automatic play. REC Press MODE key to enter the function menu, and select the record mode use the MODE key to confirm and enter. The player will begin to record voice through microphone, the screen will display the file name to be recorded (Vxxx.WAV). press MODE key to pause, long press MODE to stop recording. Function menu Press the key and enter the main menu. Music 12 In the" music " main menufirst press " MODE " button to enter the play mode FM radio Select the main menu "FM radio" and press "MODE" button to enter FM radio . You can select the saved channels via and button. In the FM radio state, press "Mode" button it will displays seven submenus, such as "music, voice, record, save station, delete station, auto scan and exit" You can press and button to select the relative submenu and press Mode to enter. Music: select "Play Music" menu, press "Mode" button and enter MP3/WMA mode. Voice: select "voice" menu, press "Mode" button and enter Voice Mode. Record: select "record" menu, press "Mode" button and enter Record Mode. The player will begin to record voice 13 from FM radio, the screen will display the file name to be recorded (Fxxx.WAV). press PLAY key to pause recording, long press MODE to stop recording. There are Ten modes namely "Equalizer, play mode, contrast, Display time, Power setting, record setting, Text scroll speed, language, Load Default, Exit". In all kinds of mode you can conduct relative setting. EQ set: select "EQ set" menupress "MODE" button and enter EQ set option. There are seven modes namely "Normal, 15 Rock, Jazz, classical, pop, Bass, Treble". Language: select "language" menu , press "MODE" button to enter,. Press and button and select relative language. 17 Text scroll speed: Select menu " text scroll speed" and press " MODE " button, Press the 7 or 8 button to select Display speed setting which includes the following options: normal(0), fastest(2), slowest(-2), faster(1), slower(-1). Press the MODE button to save. Load default set: Select "Load default set" menu, and press "MODE" button to enter, press the 7 or 8 button to select load default set. Press the MODE button to enter, and repress the 7 or 8 button to select "YES" or "NO". Press M E N U button to confirm. If you select "YES", all the setting will come back to the original set, then the player shut off. Music library From MP3 mode or voice standby mode, you can press the MODE button 2 seconds to enter the main menu, and push the 7 or 8 button to select music library, and press the MODE button to enter which includes: Play all, Artist, Album, Track, Genre, Year, Voice record, Fm record and Exit. Press 18 MODE button to return to forward menu. Play all: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select play all function. Press the MODE button to select and then the player begin playing all the songs saved in it. Artist: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select artist function. All the songs will be sorted according to the artist. You can select certain artist which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. Album: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select Album function, the files saved in it. You can select certain file which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play 19 automatically. Track: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select track function. All the songs will be sorted according to the track. You can select certain track which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. Genre: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select genre function. All the songs will be sorted according to the genre. You can select certain genre which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. Year: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select year function. All the songs will be sorted according to the published time. You can select certain song 20 which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. Voice record: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or8 button to select Voice record function. All the voice files are saved in this folder. You can select certain file which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. FM record: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select FM record function. All the FM record files are saved in this folder. You can select certain file which you love, or select the play all then press the MODE button to confirm. Then the system will play automatically. Exit: Under the Music Library mode, press the 7 or 8 button to select exit function. No connecting software and USB drive is needed.connecting software attached to player should be installed in the windows 98 or MAC. You upload or download any forms of files. As they are not MP3/WMA files or recording file, they will not be displayed or affected during playing, repeater recording of MP3/WMA. 22 Statement 1 To prevent data loss, we suggest the users to copy important material. Note: 1)The unsteady voltage of the main board of the PC 2)The sudden power failure while the data-transmitting between the MP3 player and the PC has not completed 3)The sudden power failure while the MP3 player is working or violated by virus. These will damage the software of Mp3 player and cause the following problems. 1. Cannot turn on the player 2. No display of characters except backlight 3. Doesn't work properly, or it is frozen. Solutions: Connect the player to computer, store all files to computer 23 A. Windows 98 system 1) Run the SETUP program on CD , after the installation, reset the computer. 2) In Programs folder (CD), run the program "stupdaterapp", the computer will auto scan the device that need to update program. 3) Remove the battery in the MP3 player. Press and hold play key of the player, then connect it to the computer, till the computer display the picture of firmware download. 4)select the format option ,then press "start" key , after updating the program, press "exit" key to close the program. Copy the file of MP3 music into the player, you can enjoy the favorite song again. B. Windows Me/2000/XP 1) In Programs folder (CD), run the program "stupdaterapp", the computer will auto scan the device that need to update program. 2) Remove the battery in the MP3 player. Press and hold play key the player, then connect it to the computer, till the computer display the firmware download picture . 3) Select the format option ,then press "start" key , after update the program, press "exit" key to close the program. Copy the file of MP3 music into the player, you can enjoy the 24 favorite song again. step: 1: Insert the cdrom to the computer Second: Run the programs in the cdrom 2: Run setupdaterapp.exe 3:The computer scans the device automatically 4: Take out the battery from the player, then 25 connect the player to the computer and long press the play button without released, until the computer display the download picture 26 5:Select the "format DataArea" option, and click the start button , the program will update automatically, then exit after finish.
