Identification Polaroid Identifilm. How can you ensure ID security if you're not using a high security film? S ystems Polaroid Identifilm represents one of the highest levels of ID security on the market. That makes using it the only way you can have real confidence in the integrity of your optical ID program. Identifilm is like nothing else available as it's custommade for each customer under the strictest security guidelines. The way it's manufactured makes tampering instantly evident. A visible and/or ultraviolet pattern unique to your own organization is imbedded within the film. This pattern is immediately destroyed with any attempt at ID card alteration. To create an Identifilm that's uniquely your own, based on your own artwork design, we imbed a customized security pattern within our Polacolor film. You can opt for UV or visible color printing, or a combination of both. But, no matter how you look at it, you'll have instant identification that defies forging, duplication, or alterations of any kind. Ultraviolet printing option. We can create a design from almost any combination of letters and symbols. This pattern is then printed randomly across the entire film sheet surface. Since the design is visible only under ultraviolet light, your security personnel can check for the hidden UV pattern, as well as for the traditional portrait, signature and other identifying data. This extra layer of protection makes any attempt at tampering immediately apparent. Visible printing option. Polaroid can also create a customized pattern, utilizing several color options, that is instantly recognizable, with no special lights required. Like our UV option, the design is printed randomly across the entire film sheet to provide unalterably superior levels of security. Outstanding visual recognition is compatible with all Polaroid ID systems. Polaroid Identifilm is compatible with all ID Systems that use either our 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (8.5 cm x 10.8 cm) or 3 1/4" x 3 3/8" (8.3 cm x 8.6 cm) color film. Neither a UV nor a visible printed security pattern interferes with the sharpness and overall characteristics of a portrait and ID card. Signatures, bar codes, magnetic stripes, and all other security and access-control devices and techniques may still be applied to the card. This film can be used in both all-photo and cut-and-paste ID applications. Photo-destruct bonding stops forgers instantly. Identifilm forms a bond that's virtually indestructible when used with our PolaSeal laminates in "wet" photo applications. Film and polyester are chemically combined under heat. This means that the film and laminate cannot be cleanly separated from each other without obvious damage. The result is an ID card that "photo destructs" with any attempt at modification. Confidentiality is maintained from the initial design through to final product delivery, with all printing materials stored in a secure location.
