Using the DigiMax D8 as a Preamp Split This diagram shows the DigiMax D8 used as a splitter; sending the analog direct outputs to an analog monitor mixer and the ADAT output to a digital Front of House console. The digital outputs of the FOH console are then being sent to the FireStudio Lightpipe so that the performance can be recorded on a computer. The entire digital signal path is being clocked to the digital console via BNC, so the 3 DigiMax FS and the FireStudio Lightpipe must be set to clock externally via BNC.
