PYD191 1/PYD1955 pro series professional with MP3 Player 4 channel Your PYLE PRO Series Performance Mixer is a sophisticated control center, perfect for mixing sound from multiple playback sources such as microphones, tuners, CD players, turntables or the audio outputs from a VCR. This mixer is ruggedly constructed for home or professional use. Wide range volume controls permit you to adjust sound levels accurately to achieve just the right mix for playing through your speaker system or for recording. Please read this manual thoroughly before you attempt to set up and use the mixer. It contains a range of suggestions and instructions to insure safe usage. FILE NUMBER:The initial 2 digits indicate the file number. TIME COUNTER:The last 4 digits indicate the min/sec of the played file. DATA T (Transfer):It indicates the player status is being uploaded or downloaded in the mode of internal player or external SD card. 10. Flat/Pop/Jazz/Classic/Rock:It indicates the status of 5 preset EQ. Control Buttons 1. MODE:to select the internal (built in memory) or external (SD card) mode. 2. A-B (REPEAT):to repeat A point to B point of the song periodically, press the button once to set up the starting point (A) or the period, and press again to set up the ending point (B) of the period. 1 indicates the repeating playing of a single song; ALL indicates the repeating 3. REPEAT: playing of all songs. (SKIP): To backward or search for the previous file. 4. (SKIP): To forward or search for the next file. 5. 6. EQ:Press to select 5 options of programmed Flat, Pop, Jazz, Classic, and Rock EQ control. 7. STOP:To stop the playing of MP3 player. 8. VOL-:To decrease the output volume level. 9. VOL+:To increase the output volume level. :Press (PLAY) once to play MP3; press (PAUSE) again to halt. 10. 11. USB ON:Press to activate the USB data cable connection between the mixer and computer. 12. MEMORY SLOT:For the use of external memory slot for SD card. CAUTIONS: 1. PLEASE ALWAYS FORMAT THE MEMORY WHEN IT IS USED FIRST TIME. 2. PLEASE INSERT OR EJECT THE SD CARD ONLY UNDER THE MP3 IS ON "STOP" OR THE MIXER IS ON "POWER OFF" CONDITIONS. 3. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB DATA CABLE UNDER UPLOADING OR DOWNLOADING. Pyle Pro Mixer PYD1911/1955 Owner's Manual ­ 3 Features and Controls: MP3 Player Installing the MP3 Driver 1. Connect the USB DATA CABLE with the used computer. 2. Connect the USB DATA CABLE with the mixer and turn it on. 3. If your computer i s equipped with the Windows 95/98/98SE, please download the MP3 driver at WWW.PYLEAUDIO.COM; If your computer is equipped with the Windows ME/XP/2000, this procedure is not required. 4. The windows will get new hardware and install the MP3 driver automatically. Operating the MP3 1. Connect the USB DATA CABLE to the mixer and the used computer, and turn on the mixer. 2. get to the "PORTABLE DISK" in the Windows explorer. 3. check the size of portable disk by clicking the right button with the pointer over the portable disk icon, and open the "PROPERTIES". 4. Go on to the next step #5 with everything being correct, otherwise, move the pointer on the portable disk icon and click the right mouse button, and do "FORMAT" complete than "DEFRAGMENTER" if the properties going down. 5. Please copy the song files in the computer and than go to portable disk, click PASTE, the computer will download the files to the portable disk automatically. 6. If you want to download other types of files, please just repeat the last step. If you want to move out the files, please CUT the files and PASTE them to the location you wnat them to be. 7. If the files are from the internet, you can just save them in the portable disk. however, it would be more convenient for you to get them next time with saving the files in your hard drive first. 8. CAUTION:The MP3 player would be shut down if you disconnect the USB DATA CABEL during the files' are being downloaded. System Requirements: 1. Intel Pentium III 166MHZ or up processor. 2. The Windows 95/98/98SE are required to download the MP3 driver at WWW.PYLEAUDIO.COM; The Windows ME/XP/2000 are not required. 3. The free hard disk space of 20MB or up. 4. The RAM capacity of 32MB or up. 5. One USB port available. 4 ­ Pyle Pro Mixer PYD1911/1955 Owner's Manual Presetting the Controls Before Use Set up the mixer controls like this before you start: Since sudden high output levels from your Pyle Pro mixer can damage not only audio devices connected to the mixer output but your hearing as well (especially if you are using headphones), please adjust the mixer's controls BEFORE connecting AC power or turning on the unit.
