Intended Use
The A65 is a GPS Chartplotter display unit that can be upgraded to include optional Fishfinder functionality. This handbook contains important information on the operation of your A65 GPS Chartplotter. To get the best results in operation and performance, please take the time to read it thoroughly. For full details of installation and system integration, please refer to the Installation Manual supplied with the display.

WARNING: Navigation Aid This device is intended to be used as an aid to navigation. Its accuracy can be affected by many factors, including equipment failure or defects, environmental conditions and incorrect handling or use. It is the user's responsibility to exercise common prudence and navigational judgement. This device should not be relied upon as a substitute for such prudence and judgement. CAUTION: Water Ingress To prevent the ingress of water and consequent damage to the display, ensure that the chart card door is firmly closed. This can be confirmed by an audible click. CAUTION: CompactFlash (CF) Cards · When installing CF cards ensure that the card is inserted in the correct orientation. Do not try to force the card into position as this may result in irreparable damage to the card and/or reader. · Removing the CF card while information is being written to or read from it may cause damage to the card and loss of all data. · Do not save data (waypoints, etc.) to a Navionics card as the charts may be overwritten. When archiving use a separate SanDisk CompactFlash card. · Do not use a metallic instrument such as a scr ...
