Your Home Theatre Master 1000 (HTM1000) is a state-of-the-art device which integrates many different infrared remote controls to deliver instant A/V action to your fingertips. We hope that you love this remote and take it as your Personal Digital Assistant for your Home Theatre system. Before operating the remote, please read thoroughly this manual. If it is in-active for about 15 seconds, it goes to power saving (sleep) mode and shut down the display. Simply, touch the screen panel to activate the unit again. Note: When in power saving (sleep) mode, the hard key section is still available for command. Tap any of the Device Mode Key on the screen to enter the corresponding device mode. e.g. . The " " icon will change to blue color. Tap a key directly to send out the corresponding infra-red command. They transmit IR command corresponding to the selected device. · · · · · · · · · P+ P­ VOL+ VOL­ GREEN RED YELLOW BLUE Power ON/OFF Program up or channel up Program down or channel down Volume up Volume down For teletext and fastext function For teletext and fastext function For teletext and fastext function For teletext and fastext function For improvement purposes, specifications and functions are subjected to change without priority notice. 1.4 How to Install Batteries Alkaline batteries are recommended. 1. Open the battery cover. 2. Follow the polarity symbol shown in the battery compartment. 3. Place the batteries inside. 4. Replace the battery cover. (Remark: G/R/Y/B buttons are also used for supporting some Satellite Receivers and Cable box) 2.2 Key Tone When you tap any key, there is a short beep sound. 2.3 Backlight Note: Battery Low If the icon " " is shown on the display panel, it shows that the battery level is low. You must replace the battery with a new one to ensure proper functioning. Do not use old and new batteries together as old batteries tend to leak. Bright-blue EL Backlight will be turned on once you tap the remote. The backlight will be turned off automatically if the remote is not active for 15 seconds. 3 4 English English 3 How to Set Up the Home Theatre Master 1000 You may setup the remote by the following code entering instructions. 1. Refer to the Device Code List, look up the 4-digit device code which corresponds to the brands of your A/V equipment. If there are more than one device code listed under your brand, try from the first code. 2. Turn on your device manually (e.g. TV). 3. Press a desired device mode key (e.g. ," " icon will change into blue color) 4. Hold down " P+ " and " VOL­ " on the remote simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. 5. Input the 4-digit device code, the indicator will flash twice and turn off if successful. Turn on your device (e.g. TV), try the function keys on the remote. If your device (e.g. TV) responds to your selected function correctly, you have entered the right device code. Otherwise, repeat the above setup instructions with the rest available device codes until your device (e.g. TV) responds to your selected function, and most keys work correctly. * Simply repeat the above procedures to enter the device codes for your VCR, SAT, DVD or CBL. (Remember to press a correct device mode key in step 3 above.) 3.2 By Searching Through the Library If you cannot identify a correct device code for your equipment from the Device Code List, you may search the code through the library: 1. Turn on your device manually (e.g. TV). 2. Press a desired device mode key (e.g. ) 3. Hold down " P+ " and " VOL­ " on the HTM1000 simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. 4. Enter a corresponding Magic Search Code from the following table. The indicator will flash twice and turn off. DEVICE TYPE: TV VCR SAT CBL DVD 3.1 By Entering Device Code MAGIC SEARCH CODE: 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 (e.g. press device mode key, then press " P+ " and " VOL­ ", and enter TV Magic Search Code 0001.) 5. Press the same desired device mode key again as in step 2 above. (e.g. ) 6. Hold down " P+ " and " VOL­ " simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up, and your HTM1000 is ready to start searching. 7. Aim the remote at your device (e.g. TV), press the " " key repeatedly, slowly and patiently until the device has been turned off. Once your device has been turned off, immediately press the device mode key (e.g. ) to lock in code and the indicator flashes twice and then turn off. * Simply repeat the above setup procedures to search the device code for your VCR, SAT, DVD or CBL.. (Remember to press a correct device mode key and correct Magic Search Code in step 2­5 above.) Note: ­ DVD, CBL, SAT and other device codes can be entered into any device modes except "TV" & "VCR" modes. Just simply press the device mode key and enter your 4-digit device code for DVD, CBL, SAT and other devices. ­ If the indicator flashes 6 times in step 5, a wrong device code has been entered. You are required to repeat step 2 to 5 again. IMPORTANT: ­ If the power on/off function of your device is not infrared controlled -- you need to follow step 2 to 6 above and start searching:­ Press " " and another important function key alternately until your device responds to the expected function, press the device mode key (e.g. ) to lock in the code. e.g. Press " " & " 1 " alternately, or Press " "&" " alternately. Suggestion: ­ If you cannot find a correct device code for your equipment, see " 3.2 By Searching Through the Library ". Note: ­ DVD, CBL and other device codes can be searched and locked into any device modes except "TV" & "VCR" modes. Just simply press the corresponding device mode key in step 2 & 5 and enter an appropriate Magic Search Code for your DVD, CBL and other devices. 5 6 English ­ Each time you press the " ", the HTM1000 will skip to the next code and send out a POWER signal trying to turn off your device. If you failed to stop pressing " " in time when your device has been turned off, turn on your device again immediately. Before the indicator goes out, press " P­ " on the HTM1000 to skip backward. Repeat the step 7 above and lock in code. ­ If the indicator flashes 6 times after your pressing of " " key, you are already at the last code of the library. Press the device mode key (e.g. ) to resume the HTM1000 and repeat carefully the above procedures to search again. English 7. Repeat steps 5 to 6 to transfer other signals into next function key. When you finish the whole device mode, press the same device mode key (e.g. ) again to store your setting. The indicator will flash twice and then turn off. 4.1 Learning Additional Codes by "SHIFT" There are in maximum of 42 squares within 3 pages which are available to be learnt for each device mode. In case you would like to learn more than 42 commands per each device, you can make use of " SHIFT " function to obtain additional 3 more pages in order to obtain additional 42 free learning spaces under " SHIFT " platform. For detail explanation of how to use the " SHIFT " function, please refer to section " 5.3 SHIFT " for reference. 4 How to Set Up Your HTM1000 (Learning Commands) 4.2 Advance Learning ­ Teaching a Dual Signal If you found a learned command work for your A/V equipment only occasionally, your original remote control may contain dual signals. Try the following steps to reprogram this command:­ 1. Follow step 1 to 4 of " 4 How to Set Up Your HTM1000 (Learning Commands) ". 2. Press and release a desired key on the HTM1000 you want to hold the command. The device mode key icon (e.g. ) will stop flashing. 3. Press and hold the corresponding key on your A/V remote control to transfer the command. The indicator will flash once and the device mode key icon (e.g. ) will flash again. The first signal has been transferred successfully and you can release the key on the A/V remote control. 4. Press and release the same button on the HTM1000 again. The device mode key icon (e.g. ) will stop flashing. 5. Press and hold the same corresponding key on your A/V remote control until the indicator will flash once and the device mode key icon (e.g. ) flash again. The dual signal command has been transferred successfully. 6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 of this procedure to transfer other signals if there is any. 7. When finished, press the same device mode key again to store your setting. Warning: Entering a new preprogrammed device code will automatically erase and replace all learned commands in the chosen device mode. Your HTM1000 is factory preprogrammed to operate your TVs, VCRs, SATs, CBLs & DVDs. Due to the limited number of key, some minor functions may not be included. You may teach your remote with the original A/V remote to operate any excluded function by your choice. Besides the preprogrammed devices, you may also teach the remote to operate other infra-red controlled equipment and appliances, such as HiFi or air-conditioners, etc. Your HTM1000 can learn and reproduce up to 226 commands from other remote controls. All 5 device modes (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, CBL) can be taught to operate additional commands:­ 1. Press a desired device mode key (e.g. ," " icon will change into blue color). 2. Hold down " P+ " & " VOL­ " on the remote together simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. 3. Enter the Magic Learn Code ­ 0000, the " Learn " icon will light up and your HTM1000 is ready to learn commands. 4. Aim your A/V remote control to the HTM1000 infra-red lens on a flat surface, with 5-8 cm apart. Make sure your A/V remote control has new batteries. 5. Press and release a desired keys on the remote you want to hold the command. 6. Press and hold the corresponding key on your A/V remote control to transfer the command. The indicator will flash once and the device mode key icon (e.g. ) will flash again when the command is copied. You can release the key on the A/V remote control. If the indicator flashes 6 times, it shows error in learning process. Adjust the position of both remote controls and repeat steps 5 to 6 again. 7 Note: ­ Do not attempt to learn additional commands with the Device Mode Keys, " Page " Key & " SHIFT " Key. They will not hold commands by themselves. 8 English ­ Each function key will hold one command only, a new command to be learnt will automatically erase and replace the previous one. ­ If you have accidentally pressed an unexpected key in step 5 above, you have to wait 16 seconds until the indicator goes out and the HTM1000 will go back to normal operation. You may repeat the above procedures to setup the remote again. ­ If the indicator flashes 3 times during the transference of the signals, this tells you the memory bank is full. Press the same device key again to resume normal operation. (You may erase the learned commands in a device mode and make room for any new signal. See "Warning" above.) English 3. Now, your HTM1000 is into the 4th page for additional learning space. Press " Page " to access the 5th and 6th page. 4. Follow the procedures from point 5 of section " 4 How to Set Up Your HTM1000 (Learning Commands) " for remaining learning command setup. 5.3.2 "Shift" for obtaining additional Macro(s) Besides accessing additional learning spaces, " SHIFT " function can also allow you to program the 4th, 5th and 6th " Smart " for performing Macro function. The setup procedure, please refer to section " 6.1 Program the 4th, 5th and 6th Smart ". 5 Operating the Remote Once you have setup the remote for your A/V equipment, it works like your original remote controls. To operate, just aim it at your equipment, press an appropriate device mode key and invoke the desired function by pressing a corresponding key on the remote. The indicator flashes and you can hear beep sound during signal transmission as confirmation of key touch. For some VCR/DVD players, please use buttons for performing PLAY/STOP/REW/FF and REC functions. 5.3.3 How to access the "Shift" function 1. Press the device mode key that you have previously learnt commands e.g. . 2. Press " SHIFT ", a " SHIFT " can be seen. 3. Your HTM1000 is now into the 4th page of chosen device mode e.g. " TV ". 4. Find the function icon that you have learnt before and press once to execute the command. 5. To exit " SHIFT " mode, press the " SHIFT " icon again. 5.1 Normal Operation 5.4 Punch Through Punch through allows you to operate TV's volume and mute functions without having to switch the device modes repeatedly even when your remote is in other operating modes. However, if you have learned commands on VOL+, VOL­ or in the device mode (VCR, DVD, SAT, CBL), the punch through function will be disabled in that corresponding device mode. 5.2 Page Each device mode contains 3 groups of commands. You can simply tap the " Page " key on the right bottom corner of the remote panel to turn to another command group. 5.3 Shift " SHIFT " function allows you to obtain additional learning space for each device mode. There are 3 pages for each default device mode. Through using " SHIFT " key, you can access the 4th, 5th and 6th pages. The practical procedures are as follows: 5.5 Advanced Function ­ Smart Program Create a chain of multiple commands ­ your remote comes with 6 programmable Smart programs ( Smart 1 , Smart 2 , Smart 3 ) each with maximum 20 key steps. With the help of Smart, you can program a group of commands in time delay to execute in a chain of infra-red signal simply by a press of Smart. 5.3.1 Learn additional codes into the 4th, 5th and 6th pages 1. Follow step 1 to 4 of " 4 How to Set Up Your HTM1000 (Learning Commands) ". 2. Press " SHIFT " key and you can see the " SHIFT " key changed to " SHIFT " . 9 10 English English 6 Program a Smart 7 Maintenance 1. Hold down " P+ " & " VOL­ " on the HTM1000 together simultaneously for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. 2. Enter the Magic Code ­ 0009. 3. The Smart icons will turn on. 4. Select a desired Smart key. (e.g. Smart 1 ) 5. Select a command from the corresponding device mode and indicator will flash once for each key. 6. Press and hold the command if you want to setup the transmission period of the command (max. up to 60 seconds). 7. Repeat step 5 until you finish the whole program and press the same Smart key (e.g. Smart 1 ). The Smart program is stored. 8. To program another Smart, repeat the steps 1 to 6 above. ­ Do not expose your HTM1000 to dust, strong sunlight, humidity, high temperature or mechanical shock. ­ Do not use old and new batteries together as old batteries tend to leak. ­ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleansers on your HTM1000. ­ Keep the unit dust free by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. ­ Do not disassemble your HTM1000, it contains no userserviceable parts. 8 Troubleshooting 6.1 Program the 4th, 5th and 6th Smart 1. Follow step 1 to 3 of section " 6 Program a Smart ". 2. Press " SHIFT " to enter " SHIFT " mode and then choose Smart 1 , Smart 2 or Smart 3 and that represent Smart 4 , Smart 5 and Smart 6 respectively. 3. The indicator will flash twice and keep light on. The HTM1000 is ready to receive a series of commands. 4. Select a command from the corresponding device mode and indicator will flash once for each key. 5. Press and hold the command if you want to setup the transmission period of the command (max. up to 60 seconds). 6. Repeat step 5 until you finish the whole program and press " SHIFT " and the same Smart key (e.g. Smart 1 ). The Smart program is stored. Q. My remote does not work all !!! A. Check your A/V device, if the main switch of the device is turned off, your remote could not operate it. A. Check whether your batteries are inserted properly and are in correct +/­ marks. A. If the batteries are weak, replace the batteries. See " 1.4 How to Install Batteries ". Q. If several device codes listed under the brand of my A/V device, how can I select the correct device code? A. To seek the correct device code for your A/V device, test the code one by one until most keys work properly. Q. My A/V equipment responds only to some of the commands. A. You have set a code for which only some commands work properly but some do not. Try other codes until most keys work properly. A. You can also copy from the original A/V remote. See " 4 How to Set Up Your HTM1000 (Learning Commands) ". 6.2 Operating a Smart Program 1. Aim your remote at the equipment. 2. Press and release the Smart key that you have programmed (e.g. Smart 1 ). The corresponding Smart icon and the indicator will flash slowly during transmission of the signals. The Smart icon and the indicator will stop flashing when the chain of infra-red signals has been transmitted completely. The remote will go back to normal. Q. My remote indicator shows error in learning commands from other A/V remote control. A. Make sure you are aiming your A/V remote control at the HTM1000 infra-red lens on a flat surface with 5-8 cm apart. A. Make sure the learning procedures are carried out in an environment free from direct sunlight and /or strong light. A. Clean the infra-red transmission diode/lens of your A/V remote and try again. A. Check the batteries inside the A/V remote control. If the batteries are weak, the remote cannot learn command properly. A. Make sure the distance between the A/V remote and your HTM1000 is remained the same throughout the whole learning procedures. 6.3 Operating the 4th, 5th and 6th Smart Program 1. Aim your remote at the equipment. 2. Press " SHIFT " and choose the Smart key that you have programmed (e.g. Smart 1 ). The corresponding Smart icon and the indicator will flash slowly during transmission of the signals. The Smart icon and the indicator will stop flashing when the chain of infra-red signals has been transmitted completely. The remote will go back to normal. 11 Q. Some learned commands in my remote do not work. A. Those signals are not learnt properly. Try to teach your HTM1000 again for those functions. 12 English Français Q. Some learned commands in my remote work occasionally. A. Your original A/V remote may carry dual signal commands. You have to go through the section " 4.2 Advanced Learning ­ Teaching a Dual Signal ". 1 Introduction Q. What is SMART? A. It is an advanced feature of your HTM1000 which allows you to program a series of commands in appropriate time delay. By simply a press of the selected Smart button, your HTM1000 will execute a chain of infra-red signals automatically. For details, please refer to section " 5.5 Advanced Function ­ Smart Program ". Otez le couvercle du compartiment piles. 2. Conformez-vous aux symbôles de polarité figurant dans le compartiment. 3. Logez-y les piles. 4. Replacez le couvercle du compartiment piles. 7 10 8 5 VOL+ PVOLP+ Note: Indicateur de pile basse 4 Le symbôle " " qui apparaît à l'affichage indique que la pile est faible. Insérez une pile neuve pour assurer un fonctionnement normal. N'utilisez pas simultanément des piles neuves et usées car les piles usées ont tendance à couler. 15 16 Français Français 2 u Mise en Marche Une fois les piles installées, votre HTM1000 passe en mode TV. En mode inactif pendant plus de 15 secondes, il passe alors en mode d'économie d'énergie (veille) et l'affichage s'estompe. Pour réactiver l'écran, effleurez-le simplement. Note: En mode " veille ", le répertoire du disque dur reste toujours disponible aux diverses fonctions. Saisissez une fonction de sélection d'appareil à l'écran. Ex. . L'icône " " vire à la couleur bleue. Appuyez directement sur une touche pour envoyer l'instruction infrarouge correspondante. 3 Comment Mettre en Marche le HTM1000 Veuillez vous référer aux instructions suivantes pour la mise en fonction de la télécommande: 1. Référez vous à la DEVICE CODE LIST [ Liste des codes appareil] et relevez-y le code "DEVICE" à 4 chiffres qui correspond à la marque de votre appareil A/V. Lorsque la liste comprend plusieurs codes device qui correspondent à la marque, commencez par utiliser le tout premier. 2. Mettez l'appareil en route manuellement (c'est-à-dire TV). 3. Appuyez sur la touche voulue [mode "device"](ex L'icône " " devient bleue). 4. Maintenez les touches " P+ " et " VOL­ " pressées simultanément pendant 3 secondes jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur lumineux s'éclaire. 5. Entrez le code device à 4 chiffres, l'indicateur clignotera deux fois puis s'éteindra en cas d'acceptation réussie. Mettez l'appareil en route manuellement (ex TV), essayez les touches de fonction sur la télécommande. Si l'appareil ( ex TV) répond favorablement à la fonction saisie, vous avez sans doute saisi le bon code device. Dans le cas contraire, recommencez les instructions de mise en marche en vous référant aux codes device encore disponibles et jusqu'à ce que le système (ex TV) accepte la fonction saisie, la plupart des touches fonctionnant correctement. * Continuez à répéter la procédure ci-dessus pour saisir le code device de vos VCR, SAT, DVD ou CBL. Note: ­ Les codes device DVD, CBL, SAT ainsi que d' autres codes peuvent être saisis en mode "device" à l'exclusion des modes " TV " & " VCR ". Appuyez simplement sur la touche mode "device" et saisissez votre code "device" DVD, CBL, SAT et autres appareils. ­ Si l'indicateur lumineux clignote 5 fois de suite à l'étape n° 5, il dénote qu'un code device erroné a été saisi. Liste des codes : recherchez le code dans la bibliothèque. 1. Mettez l'appareil en route manuellement (ex TV). 2. Appuyez sur la touche voulue (mode"Device")(ex ). 3. Maintenez les touches " P+ " et " VOL­ " pressées simultanément pendant 3 secondes jusqu'à l'éclairage de l'indicateur lumineux. 4. Référez-vous à la table suivante pour y rechercher le code Magic Search [Recherche magique]. L'indicateur lumineux clignotera deux fois avant de s'éteindre. Compte tenu du nombre restreint de fonctions, il est possible que certaines fonctions mineures ne puissent être proposées. Il vous est possible de paramétrer la télécommande A/V préprogrammée pour définir les fonctions que vous souhaitez exclure. Outre les appareils préprogrammés, il vous est possible de paramétrer la télécommande pour mettre en route tout autre appareil contrôlé par infrarouge, tels les appareils HI-FI ou les climatiseurs, etc.. Votre HTM100 peut réagir à et reproduire jusqu'à 226 fonctions différentes en provenance d'autres télécommandes. Les 5 types d'appareils (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, CBL) peuvent être paramétrés pour reecevoir des fonctions complémentaires. 1. Sélectionnez la fonction désirée pour activer un appareil (ex , l'icône " " virant alors à la couleur bleue). 2. Sur la télécommande, maintenez pressées ensemble les touches " P+ " & " VOL­ " . 3. Saisissez le code "Magic Learn" ­ 0000, l'icône " Learn " s'éclairant alors, indiquant que votre HTM1000 est prêt à accepter les fonctions. 4. Dirigez votre télécommande A/V vers les lentilles infrarouge de votre HTM1000 placé sur une surface plane, une distance de 5 à 8 cm devant les séparer. Assurez-vous que votre télécommande A/V est bien dotée de piles récentes. 5. Appuyez sur la touche adéquate de la télécommande pour sélectionner la fonction désirée. 6. Maintenez la touche pressée de votre télécommande A/V pour envoyer le signal. L'indicateur clignotera une fois et l'icône relative à la fonction "Mode Device" (ex : L'icône ) clignotera une nouvelle fois après la réception du signal. L'indicateur clignotera deux fois avant de s'éteindre. Dans le cas où vous souhaiteriez apprendre plus de 42 fonctions par appareil, vous pourrez utiliser la fonction " SHIFT " et obtenir 3 nouvelles pages, soit 42 autres nouveaux codes à apprendre sous la fonction " SHIFT ". Veuillez vous référer au chapitre " 5.3. SHIFT " pour toute explication détaillée relative à l'utilisation de cette fonction. 4.2 Tutoriel avancé : Apprendre le double signal Lorsque votre équipement A/V met de temps en temps en évidence une fonction que vous avez assimilée, il est possible que la télécommande renferme des doubles signaux. Essayez les instructions suivantes pour reprogrammer cette fonction: 1. Suivez les instructions 1 à 4 pour " 4 Installation de Votre HTM1000 (Tutoriel de Commandes) ". 2. Appuyez sur la touche adéquate de votre HTM1000 pour sélectionner la fonction désirée. L'icône de fonction de l'appareil choisi (ex ) cessera de clignoter. 3. Maintenez la touche pressée de votre télécommande A/V pour envoyer le signal. L'indicateur clignotera une fois et l'icône relative à la fonction Mode Device (ex: ) clignotera de nouveau. Le premier signal a été transféré avec succès. Il vous est maintenant possible de libérer la touche de votre télécommande A/V. 4. Appuyez et relâchez encore une fois la même touche de votre télécommande. L'icône de fonction de l'appareil choisi (ex ) cessera de clignoter. 5. Maintenez pressée la même touche de votre télécommande A/V jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur clignote une fois. L'icône de fonction de l'appareil (ex: ) clignotera de nouveau. La fonction double signal a été exécutée avec succès. 6. Répétez les étapes 2 à 5 de cette procédure pour transférer d'autres signaux, si nécessaire. 7. L'opération étant terminée, appuyez sur la même touche de fonction pour sauvegarder votre paramétrage. 21 5 Mise en Marche de la Telecommande Après avoir réalisé le paramétrage de votre télécommande par rapport à votre équipment A/V, cette télécommande fonctionnera comme toute autre télécommande. Pour la mise en marche, visez votre appareil, puis pressez la touche appropriée de votre télécommande L'indicateur lumineux clignote et un son est produit durant la transmission du signal, confirmant l'acceptation de la fonction choisie. Note: Sur certains lecteurs VCR/DVD, il est nécessaire d'utiliser les touches PLAY/STOP/REW/ FF and REC functions. 5.1 Opération classique 5.2 Page Chaque mode de fonctionnement contient 3 groupes de commandes. Répétez les étapes 1 à 6 ci-dessus lorsque vous souhaitez programme un autre Smart. 5.3.3 Comment accéder à la fonction "Shift" 1. Appuyez sur la touche de fonction de l'appareil pour lequel vous venez de découvrir les fonctions, ex . 2. Appuyez sur " SHIFT " - vous verraez apparaître " SHIFT " suivi d'une flèche ascendante. 3. Se rimane inattiva per 15 secondi, essa va in modalità risparmio di energia (sleep) e spegne il display. Semplicemente toccate lo schermo per attivare nuovamente l'unità. Nota: In modalità risparmio di energia (sleep) , la sezione dei tasti duri è ancora disponibile per il comando. Tenete premuti insieme " P+ " e " VOL­ " simultaneamente sul telecomando per 3 secondi finchè l'indicatore si illuminerà. 5. Inserite il codice a 4 cifre, l'indicatore lampeggerà due volte e si spegnerà, segno che l'operazione è andata a buon fine. Accendete la vostra periferica (ad esempio la TV), provate i tasti di funzione sul telecomando. Se la vostra periferica ( ad esempio la TV) risponde correttamente alle funzioni richiamate, avete inserito il codice corretto. Altrimenti ripetete le istruzioni spiegate precedentemente con gli altri codici disponibili finchè la vostra periferica ( ad esempio la TV) risponderà alle funzioni richiamate e la maggior parte dei tasti funziona correttamente. * Semplicemente ripetete le procedure spiegate precedentemente per inserire i codici per i vostri VCR, SAT, DVD o per il box della tv via cavo (CBL). Nota: ­ DVD, CBL, SAT e gli altri codici di periferiche possono essere inseriti in qualsiasi tasto di modalità periferica eccetto le modalità 'TV' & 'VCR' . Premete semplicemente il tasto di modalità di periferica e inserire il codice a 4 cifre per DVD, CBL, SAT e per le altre periferiche. ­ Se l'indicatore lampeggia 6 volte nel passaggio 5, vuol dire che è stato inserito un codice errato. Dovete ripetere i passaggi da 2 a 5. 2.3 Illuminazione Una luce color azzurro chiaro EL si accenderà una volta toccato il telecomando. La luce si spegnerà automaticamente se il telecomando rimarrà inattivo per 15 secondi. Suggerimento: ­ Se non riuscite a trovare un corretto codice di periferica (Device Code) per il vostro sistema, guardate in " 3.2 Cercando nella Bibiloteca ". 43 44 Italiano Italiano 3.2 Cercando nella Bibiloteca Se non riuscite ad identificare un codice corretto di periferica (Device Code) dalla lista dei codici del il vostro sistema, potete cercare il codice nella biblioteca: 1. Accendete manualmente la vostra periferica ( ad esempio la TV). 2. Premete un tasto di modalità di periferica (Device Mode Key) a vostra scelta (ad esempio la ). 3. Tenete premuti insieme simultaneamente " P+ " e " VOL­ " sull' HTM1000 finchè l'indicatore si illuminerà. 4. Inserite il codice di ricerca Magic Search Code corrispondente dalla seguente tabella. L'indicatore lampeggerà due volte e si spegnerà. TIPO DI PERIFERICA: TV VCR SAT CBL DVD MAGIC SEARCH CODE: 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 (CODICE DE RICERCA) (Ad esempio, premete il tasto di modalità di periferica , poi premete " P+ " e " VOL­ " ed inserite il codice 0001.) 5. Premete nuovamente lo stesso tasto di modalità di periferica scelto come nel passaggio 2 sopra (Ad esempio, il tasto ). 6. Semplicemente premete il corrispondente tasto di modalità di periferica nei passaggi 2 & 5 e inserite il codice appropriato Magic Search Code per i vostri DVD, per il box della tv via cavo (CBL) e per altre periferiche. ­ Ogni volta che premete " ", l' HTM1000 salterà al codice successivo e manderà un segnale di POWER cercando di spegnere la periferica. Se sbagliate smettendo di premere " " in tempo quando la vostra periferica si spegne, accendete immediatamente la vostra periferica di nuovo. Prima che compaia l'indicatore, premete il tasto " P­ " sull' HTM1000 per tornare indietro. Ripetete il passaggio 7 sopra e trattenete il codice. ­ Se l'indicatore lampeggia 6 volte dopo che avete premuto il tasto " ", siete già all'ultimo codice della biblioteca. Premete il tasto di modalità di periferica (Device Mode Key) (ad esempio, il tasto ) per riprendere daccapo con l' HTMR e ripetete attentamente i procedimenti sopra per una nuova ricerca. 4 Come Programmare il Vostro HTM1000 (Comandi di Apprendimento) Il vostro HTM1000 è stato preprogrammato in fabbrica per operare insieme ai vostri TVs, VCRs, SATs, CBLs & DVDs. A causa di un numero limitato di tasti, alcune funzioni minori possono non essere incluse. Potete istruire a vostra scelta il vostro telecomando con l'originale telecomando A/V ad attuare tutte le funzioni escluse. Oltre alle periferiche preprogrammate potete anche iatruire il telecomando ad operare insieme ad altri sistemi e dispositivi regolati tamite infrarossi come HiFi o condizionatori dell'aria. Il vostro HTM1000 può acquisire e riprodurre fino a 226 comandi da altri telecomandi. Tutte e cinque le modalità di periferica (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, CBL) possono essere programmate per operare con comandi addizionali:­ 1. Premete un tasto a scelta di modalità di periferica Device Mode Key (ad esempio il tasto , l'icona " " diventerà di colore azzuro). 2. Tenete premuti insieme i tasti " P+ " & " VOL­ " simultaneamente sul telecomando per 3 secondi fino a che l'indicatore si accenderà. 3. Inserite il codice Magic Learn Code ­ 0000, l'icona " Learn " si accenderà e il vostroHTM1000 sarà pronto ad acquisire i comandi. 46 IMPORTANTE: ­ Se la funzione power on/off della vostra periferica non è regolata attraverso gli infrarossi -- avete bisogno di seguire i passaggi dal 2 al 6 sopra e di iniziare la ricerca. Premete " " ed un altro importante tasto di funzione in modo alternato finchè la vostra periferica risponderà alla funzione richiesta, premete il tasto Device Mode Key (ad esempio, il tasto ) per trattenere il codice. Ad esempio, premete " " & " 1 " in modo alternato o premete " " & " " in modo alternato. 45 Italiano 4. Puntate il vostro telecomando A/V alle lenti ad infrarossi dell'HTM1000 su una superficie piatta a una distanza di 5-8 cm. Assicuratevi che il vostro telecomando A/V sia dotato di batterie nuove. 5. Premete e rilasciate un tasto a scelta sul telecomando dove volete trattenere il comando. 6. Premete e tenete il tasto corrispondente sul vostro telecomando A/V per trasferire il comando. L'indicatore lampeggerà una volta e l'icona Device Mode Key (Ad esempio, l'icona ) lampeggerà nuovamente quando il comando verrà copiato. Potete rilasciare il tasto sul telecomando A/V. Se l'indicatore lampeggerà 6 volte significa che c'è un errore nel processo di acquisizione. Sistemate la posizione di entrambi i telecomandi e ripetete nuovamente i passaggi 5 e 6. 7. Ripetete i passaggi 5 e 6 per trasferire altri segnali al successivo tasto di funzione. Quando avete esaurito l'intera modalità di periferica, premete nuovamente lo stesso tasto Device Mode Key (Ad esempio, ) per salvare la vostra programmazione. L'indicatore lampeggerà due volte e poi si spegnerà. Italiano 4. Premete e rilasciate nuovamente lo stesso bottone sul telecomando. L'icona del tasto Device Mode Key (Ad esempio, ) smetterà di lampeggiare. 5. Premete e tenete premuto lo stesso tasto corrispondente sul vostro telecomando A/V fino a che l'indicatore lampeggerà una volta e l'icona del tastoDevice Mode Key (Ad esempio, ) lampeggerà nuovamente. Il comando di segnale doppio è stato trasferito con successo. 6. Ripetete i passaggi dal 2 al 5 di questa procedura per trasferire altri segnali se ce ne sono. 7. Una volta finito, premete lo stesso tasto Device Mode Key nuovamente per salvare la vostra programmazione. Attenzione: L'inserimento di un nuovo codice di periferica (Device Code) preprogrammato cancellerà automaticamente e sostituirà tutti i comandi acquisiti nella modalità di periferica scelta. Nota: ­ Non cercate di acquisire comandi addizionali con i tasti Device Mode , " Page " e " SHIFT " . Di per sé stessi non tratterranno i comandi. ­ Ogni tasto di funzione tratterrà un solo comando; un nuovo comando da acquisire verrà automaticamente cancellato e sostituirà quello precedente. ­ Se avete accidentalmente premuto un tasto insapettato nel passaggio 5 sopra, dovete aspettare 16 secondi fino a che l'indicatore comparirà e il telecomando tornerà alle operazioni normali. Potete ripetere le procedure sopra per programmere nuovamente il telecomando. ­ Se l'indicatore lampeggia 3 volte durante il trasferimento dei segnali, questo significa che la memoria è piena. Premete nuovamente lo stesso tasto di periferica per ripristinare le normali operazioni. ( Potete cancellare i comandi acquisiti in una modalità di periferica e fare spazio per un altro segnale nuovo. Vedi la voce "Attenzione" sopra.) 4.1 Acquisizione di codici addizionali tramite "SHIFT" Ci sono un massimo di 42 barre in 3 pagine che si possono acqusire per ogni modalità di periferica. Se volete acquisire più di 42 comandi per ogni periferica, potete usare la funzione " SHIFT " per ottenere 3 pagine addizionali per poi ottenete 42 spazi liberi addizionali sotto la piattaforma " SHIFT ". Per i dettagli sulla spiegazione su come usare la funzione " SHIFT ", per favore fate riferimento alla sezione " 5.3 SHIFT ". 4.2 Acquisizione avanzata : istruzione di un segnale doppio Se trovate che un comando acquisito del vostro sistema A/V funzioni solo occasionalmente, il vostro telecomando di origine può contenere segnali doppi. Provate i seguanti passaggi per riprogrammare questo comando:­ 1. Seguite i passaggi da 1 a 4 su " 4 Come Programmare il Vostro HTM1000 (Comandi di Apprendimento) ". 2. Premete e rilasciate un tasto a scelta sull' HTM1000 che volete tenere come comando. L'icona del tasto The Device Mode Key (Ad esempio, ) smetterà di lampeggiare. 3. Premete e tenete premuto il tasto corrispondente sul vostro telecomando A/V per trasferire il comando. L'indicatore lampeggerà una volta e l'icona del tasto Device Mode Key icon (Ad esempio, ) lampeggerà nuovamente. Il primo segnale è stato trasferito con successo e potete rilasciare il tasto sul vostro telecomando A/V. 47 5 Usare il Telecomando Una volta programmato il telecomando per il vostro sistema A/V, esso funzionerà come il vostro telecomando originale. Per usarlo, semplicemente puntatelo al vostro sistema, premete un tasto appropriato Device Mode Key e richiamate la funzione desiderata premendo un tasto corrispondente sul telecomando. L'indicatore lampeggerà e potrete sentire un suono durante la trasmissione del segnale come conferma del tocco del tasto. Potete semplicemente toccare leggermente il tasto " Page " sull'angolo del fondo destro del telecomando per passare a un altro gruppo di comandi. 5.4 Punch Through La funzione "Punch through" vi permette di regolare il volume della TV e le funzioni di muto senza dover regolare ripetutamente le modalità di periferica anche quando il vostro telecomando è nei modelli operativi. Tuttavia, se avete acquisito comandi nel VOL+, VOL­ o nel nella modalità di periferica Device Mode (VCR, DVD, SAT, CBL), la funzione "punch through" verrà disabilitata in quella corrispettiva modalità di periferica. 5.3 Shift La funzione " SHIFT " permette di ottenere spazio addizionale di acquisizione per ogni modalità di periferica. Con l'aiuto della Smart potete programmare un gruppo di comandi in tempo ritardato per eseguire una catena di comandi a segnali infrarossi semplicemente premendo una Smart. 5.3.1 Acquisire codici addizionali nelle pagine 4, 5 e 6 1. Seguite i passaggi da 1 a 4 del " 4 Come Programmare il Vostro HTM1000 (Comandi di Apprendimento) ". 2. Premete il tasto " SHIFT " e potrete vedere il tasto " SHIFT " cambiare in " SHIFT " . 3. Ora il vostro HTM1000 è a pagina 4 per dello spazio addizionale di acquisizione. Premete " Page " per accedere alle pagine 5 e 6. 4. Seguite le procedure dal punto 5 della sezione " 4 Come Programmare il Vostro HTM1000 (Comandi di Apprendimento) " per la programmazione dell'acquisizione dei restanti comandi. 6 Programmare una Smart 5.3.2 "Shift" per ottenere Macro addizionali Oltre ad accedere al restante spazio di acquisizione, la funzione " SHIFT " può anche permettervi di programmare le " Smart " 4, 5 e 6 per operare funzioni Macro. Per la procedura di programmazione, per favore fate riferimento alla Sezione " 6.1 Programmare le SMART 4, 5 e 6 ". 5.3.3 Come accedere alla funzione "Shift" 1. Premere il tasto di modalità di periferica che avete precedentemente acquisito nei comandi, ad esempio . 2. Premete " SHIFT " ; sarà visibile uno " SHIFT ". 3. Il vostro HTM1000 è ora a pagina 4 della modalità di periferica scelta, ad esempio " TV ". 4. Trovate l'icona della funzione che avete acquisito prima e premete una volta per eseguire il comando. 5. Per uscire dalla modalità " SHIFT ", premete nuovamente l'icona " SHIFT ". 1. Selezionate un commando dalla modalità di periferica corrispondente e l'indicatore lampeggerà una volta per ogni tasto. 6. Premete e tenete premuto il commando se volete programmare il tempo di trasmissione del comando (Massimo fino a 60 secondi). 7. Ripetete il passaggio 5 fino a che terminerete tutto il programma e premete lo stesso tasto Smart (Ad esempio, Smart 1 ). Il programma Smart è salvato. 8. Per programmare un altra Smart ripetete i passaggi sopra dall'1 al 6. 6.1 Programmare le SMART 4, 5 e 6 1. Seguite i passaggi da 1 a 3 della Sezione " 6 Programmare una Smart ". 2. Premere " SHIFT " per inserire la modalità " SHIFT " poi scegliere Smart 1 , Smart 2 o Smart 3 e quindi raffigurare Smart 4 , Smart 5 e Smart 6 rispettivamente. 3. L'indicatore lampeggerà due volte e si terrà acceso. L'HTM1000 è pronto a ricevere una serie di comandi. 4. Selezionare un comando dalla corrispondente modalità di periferica e l'indicatore lampeggerà una volta per ogni tasto. 49
