Revox of Switzerland. Versatile Above all, a remote control should offer you one thing - ease and comfort of operation. The Re:control M208 doesn`t ask you any riddles. It leads you intuitively to where you want to get to. With it, you can control all Revox products, including the Re:source M37 audio server, with ease. Intuitive and logical. The press of a single button is all it takes to access most sources. Exceptional: the Re:control M208 doesn`t just transfer simple information to the Multiroom System. You can also use the display, for example, to search your server by titles and artists or to select your favourite radio station. Wherever you happen to be.Amazingly comfortable: Just by docking your Re:control M208 briefl y with the Re:system M51 tuner, new settings, e.g. a new radio station are learnt by the Re:control M208 and are immediately available for selection through the display. In the same way, the Re:source M37 audio server music archive can be synchronised with the Re:control M208, so that you can select each available artist simply through the display. Flexible The Re: control M207 remote handset offers easy and intuitive control combined with a maximum of flexibility. Thanks to the new, ergonomically designed buttons, the most important and most frequently used functions are controlled through the fi xed buttons, without even having to look at them. Using the Touchscreen Display, you can adjust this innovative remote control quickly to all the devices in the house that you want to operate with infrared. At each level, you will find an individual, clear display that can be modified to suit your own personal requirements. The Re:control M207 can be individually programmed, offers a wealth of setup options and maximum comfort levels. And there are practically no limits to the flexibility of the Re:control M207. Energy-efficient As this remote control only switches itself on when it is in your hand, the batteries are only used when you are actually using the unit. Integrated Consider the following scenario. You have a networked Multiroom System covering several rooms in your apartment or house. Isn't it annoying when your mobile remote control is in the lounge and you are relaxing in the bath and would just love to hear your all time favourite song again! Be annoyed no more. With the Re:control M217 / M218 you have a direct link to your equipment from every room in the house. The small remote controls are there and thanks to their individual design, they are no more obtrusive than a light switch. And just about as easy to operate. The illuminated display on the Re:control M217 shows all the important information such as the selected source, the radio station or the title. But the wall-mounted remote control panels can do even more: They also receive signals from your mobile remote control, giving you unlimited functions with your Revox Multiroom System from every room in the house. The pictures show the operating units in Feller and Gira designs. The colours and the frames can be selected to meet your individual requirements, based on the range offered by the manufacturers. Networked The Re:control M230 and M231 software is the logical extension of a remote control: You can operate your equipment directly from your desk. You don't need any additional equipment. Just use your computer, your notebook or your PDA ­ even a WLAN network if required. All the information from your system is transmitted in realtime to your screen, wherever you are. The Re:system M51 can be mirrored exactly through the Re:control software, so that you simply replicate the operating procedures that you are comfortable with. Details M208 Re:connect M208 Technical detail Dimensions The Re:control M208 gives you access to a virtually unlimited number of sources, Weight including the Re:source M37 audio server. The most important sources such as tuner, CD/DVD and server can be selected through buttons on your remote control. Power consumption Other sources can be addressed through the display. If the Re:control M208 is loaded onto the M51 using the M51 Link cable, the M51 tuner is synchronised at the same time. After that, all radio stations can be called Operating distance up through the M208 display, with their RDS station names. The M208 switches off automatically after a defined timeout, in order to conserve Frequencies energy. It switches itself back on again automatically as soon as it is moved, thanks to the integrated movement sensor. You can synchronise the radio station names as well as the contents of the Revox audio server with the Re:control M208. A suitable cable is available to connect the Re:system M51 to the remote control. As well as carrying out a synchronisation, the remote control is also directly loaded from the M51 though this cable. As with all Revox products, the software on the Re:control M208 is easy to update, allowing you to integrate functional extensions without any problem. An individually customisable user interface is available to you for each device, through the Touchscreen display. The user interface for many devices are already integrated. If required, you modify these to suit your own requirements and you can also add additional ones. The required device can be localised very quickly by through a simple database search. You can carry out these modifications and extensions to the user interface through your PC, using special software that can be downloaded free of charge from the Revox website. Re-label or re-design the buttons. Structure the macro and timer functions using the same logic as operating procedures. The integrated brightness sensor only switches the background lighting on as required. And the movement sensor simplifies operation by switching the M207 on automatically each time it is moved. As well as the pre-programming for the M51 Multiroom System, Revox also offers versions for older Revox products such as the B200 series, the H series, Evolution, Emotion, Exception and Elegance. They can however, also be integrated into most other Dimensions light switch programmes. The most important functions of your Revox Multiroom system can be controlled with both operating units. The Re:control M218 wall-mounted unit enables access Integration to the required source, a change of track or station as well as volume control. Searching is done M218 connection by artist, music genre, album or through your own personal playlist. Max. cable lengths Up to four timers can be programmed for each room through the display. This allows you to define the source and the switch-on volume for each timer start and end time, based on different days of the week, including differentiating between working days and weekends. A sleep function is also integrated in the timer software. Using this, you can program a countdown period prior to falling asleep of up to 90 minutes, in blocks of 15 minutes. If required, the operating units can be integrated into other light switch programmes, apart from the attractive designs offered by the Gira and Feller ranges. Directly from you desk or mobile with your PDA, you have your audio-video system completely under control with just a few clicks. Particularly in the case of a retrospective cabling of a house, the PDA solution is often the simplest and most effective method to handle the control of the complete system. In order to be able to access the Revox Multiroom System using the Re:control M231 software, certain other hardware is needed as well as a PDA with Windows CE 2003 Operating system. The basis is the Re:system M51 source management that is connected through M51 link to the Re:connect M202 ethernet interface. In this way, the M51 is assigned an IP address, through which you can access the whole Revox Multiroom world. The Ethernet interface is either integrated over a switch into a computer network or in the simplest case, it is connected directly to an Access point using a crossover cable. The M231 software works over 802.11b as well as through 802.11g. The PDA access the Revox world through the Access point Dominating Entertainment.
