If you are using an indoor aerial, you may need to turn it when tuning your television until you obtain a picture that is both sharp and clear. For further details, refer to: x "Automatic Storing of Channels" on page 16 x "Manual Storing of Channels" on page 18 2 or Cable Television Network If you wish to subscribe to a cable network, contact your local dealer. 8 Connecting a VCR ENG You can connect a VCR to the television using a: x Coaxial cable x S-Video cable Rear of the TV 1 2 Plug the aerial input cable into the appropriate socket on the VCR. Connect a coaxial cable to the: x VCR aerial output socket x Television aerial input socket Connect Audio/Video cable from the Audio/Video output connector to the Audio/Video input connector of television. COUL N/B Aerial input 9 Connecting a Satellite Receiver ENG In order to watch television programmes broadcast via a satellite network, you must connect a satellite receiver to the TV set. Rear of the TV 75 If you wish to connect both a satellite receiver and a VCR, you should connect the: x Receiver to the VCR x VCR to the television (see pages 39~40 for further details) Otherwise, connect the receiver directly to the television. Using a coaxial cable or Connect a coaxial cable to the: x Receiver output socket. x Television aerial input socket. Satellite receiver Connecting a Decoder In order to descramble a coded transmission signal, you must connect a decoder to the TV set.
