Connecting to an Aerial or Cable Television Network

To view television channels correctly, a signal must be received by the set from one of the following sources: x An outdoor aerial x A cable television network x A satellite network (see page 10 for further details)

In the first three cases, connect the aerial or network input cable to the 75 coaxial socket on the rear of the television. If you are using an indoor aerial, you may need to turn it when tuning your television until you obtain a picture that is both sharp and clear. Connecting a VCR

You can connect a VCR to the television using a: x Coaxial cable x S-Video cable Rear of the TV

Plug the aerial input cable into the appropriate socket on the VCR. Connect a coaxial cable to the: x VCR aerial output socket x Television aerial input socket Connect Audio/Video cable from the Audio/Video output connector to the Audio/Video input connector of television. Follow the instructions supplied with your VCR to tune the VCR to your television.

Connecting a Satellite Receiver

In order to watch television programmes broadcast via a satellite network, you must connect a satellite receiver to the TV set. Rear of the TV
