Assembly Instructions for Model: VMAV Thank you for choosing a Sanus Systems VisionMountTM VMAV. The VMAV is designed to hold a VCR, DVD player, cable box, satellite receiver or stereo component weighing up to 45 lbs. Required Tools: Drill, 1/4" drill bit and a socket set Supplied Parts and Hardware: Some parts not shown as actual size* (1) Wall Plate - a* (1) Cover - b* (1) Tube - c* (2) Cap - d (4) Foot - e Step 1: Attach Wall Plate (4) Lag Bolt - f (2) Set Screw - g (1) Allen Key - h The Wall Plate (a) must be mounted to a wood stud. Make sure the Wall Plate is oriented so that the flat side is against the wall as shown in Diagram 1. Use the Wall Plate as a template to mark the 4 hole locations for the Lag Bolts (f) between the two edges of the chosen stud. Pre-drill four holes 2.5" deep at the marked locations using a 1/4" drill bit. Attach the Wall Plate to the wall using all 4 of the Lag Bolts as shown in diagram 1. Tighten each Lag Bolt with the appropriate socket head. WARNING: Tighten Lag Bolts (f) only until the Wall Plate (a) is pulled firmly against the wall. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE LAG BOLTS! See Diagram 2 for assistance. b Diagram 2 a Step 3: Add Feet and Caps Press fit a Foot (e) into each of the 4 holes in the top portion of the Tube (c). Press fit a Cap (d) into each end of the Tube. Insert a Set Screw (g) into each hole in the Wall Plate as shown in the Detailed View of Diagram 4. Tighten each Set Screw firmly with the Allen Key (h).
