Assembly Instructions for Flat Panel TV Rails These Assembly Instructions are required only if you are going to mount a Flat Panel TV to your piece of JAVA Furniture using the VMPL or VMPL2 Universal Wall Mount from Sanus Systems. Required Tools: Phillips Screw Driver. See complementary Sanus products at www.sanus.com Step 1: Attach the Mounting Rails (d) to the assembled piece of Java Furniture by sliding the holes in the Rail over the Rail Bolts as seen in the Detailed View of Diagram 1. Once the Rail Bolt is through the hole on the Mounting Rail, let the bottom of the rail rest on the floor as shown in Diagram 1. Proceed to tighten the Rail Bolts with a phillips screw driver so the Mounting Rails are secured! Diagram 1 d Detailed View Rail Bolt Step 2: Attach the Wall Plate (e) to the Mounting Rails (d) by threading an M8 Bolt (a) through an M8 Lock Washer (c), the Wall Plate, a hole in the Mounting Rails, and into an M8 Nut (b) as shown in the Detailed View of Diagram 2. The different holes in the Mounting Rails determine the height of your television. Repeat process until the Wall Plate is connected to the Mounting Rails as seen in Diagram 2. Tighten the Screws with a phillips screw driver until tight. Diagram 2 Detailed View e c a b Note: Furniture should be located in its final position before mounting the TV to the Wall Plate.
