HOOKING UP THE AUDIOLlNI(TM TRANSMITTER/BATTERY CHARGER T-100 TO YOUR TV
1. Insert the two pin power cable into the two pin receptacle on the transmitter. Plug the other end of the adapter into a 11OV AC wall outlet. 2. Insert the three pin audio cable into the three pin receptacle on the transmitter. Insert the RCA plug into the audio output jack on your VCR, TeleCaptionTM4000 closed caption decoder, hi-fi equipment, or TV. With this connection, volume on the TV is independent of volume on the headset, so all household members can view TV together at a comfortable level. 3. If you prefer to use a headphone jack on your TV or audio equipment, use the appropriate adapter. NCI supplies an RCA to 1/8" mono adapter, which fits most TV headphone jacks. If your audio equipment uses a different jack, consult your audio equipment owner's manual. The appropriate adapter is available at most electronics stores. 4. Insert the two batteries into the battery receptacles. In doing so, you will replace the "dummy" battery in one of the receptacles. When inserting batteries, observe the guides on the charger. Make sure each battery is fully inserted, but do not force. 5. If you do not have an audio output jack or headphone jack available, or if you have problems connecting the transmitter, contact your AudioLinkTMdealer or NCI.

CHARGING THE BATTERIES Before first use of the headset, each battery should be charged for 24 hours for optimal use. Subsequent recharging time is 12-18 hours. For best results, periodically let each battery drain completely and then recharge. Because two batteries have been provided, one always can be recharging while the other is in use. Batteries are charged as long as the transmitter is plugged into an AC outlet. You cannot overcharge the batteries.

HEADSET H-100 (FRONT)
1. VOLUME CONTROL: Controls volume level. When the front of the headset is facing away from you, turn volume control toward left to increase volume. Turn to "off" (toward the right) when headset is not in use to save battery consumption. 2. VOLUME CONTROL INDICATOR: Displays volume level when volume is "on." The more yellow area shown, the higher the volume. At maximum volume (124 dB), the entire indicator area will be yellow. 3. LED: Audio receiving diode. Keep unobstructed (by hands, newspapers, other solid objects). For maximum sound reception, a clear line of sight should exist between the LED on the headset and the LEDs on the transmitter.
