for those who work in the mini disc world the 564 is a dream., nice pr. Still unsure what discs im going to need. , i've had it and loved it for a decade, ok good. I like it. it should be easier to download the manual than answering these silly questions., it's a good machine, but a little old now.. Excellent for home use., great machine, good used value., only drawback is limit of mini disk, digital out to my tascam mk44 works great, besides it is a great monitor mixer on its own.
nice :), outdated now, but good piece of kit for it's time. Love it. has lasted for many years.

. Does exactly as it says on the tin,, it's good. Is beautiful machine, yes great, pretty easy to figure out, even without the manual, great bit of kit back in the day..
i've just got it used, but was a good deal and know tascam to be a popular and reliable manf., i don't have an opinion on this unit because i would like to look at the manual first.. Mine is a little tempermental...lots of things about it i have yet to figure out., great product, the only drawback with the machine is that it is not a 16 track!. Very good, just trying to get the manual. One of the best items ever made for this technology, great unit, brilliant unit, it's good.
a decent mobile recording solution if you don't have a laptop and separate preamps. , good product. does what its supposed to, works well. I really like it, i like it, very good recorder., sure. fine. i'm in a massive hurry. sorry.. Love it!!!, greast vintage machine. don't make 'm anymore like that. My biggest problem is the switches need constant cleaning to stay working., my 564 porta is an old, but excellent product for home recordings.i just paid for my 564+30 discs 60€!, not sure if this is good or not. need manual to really figure it out., i think is - a very best!.
very good, it's great!. It's tascam solid-has a bit of a learning curve but fairly easy to get around., just started using it to record and it takes time to learn but provides great digital sound
, i've owned mine for manr caught on to the degree i'd hoped. y years and never totally got the hang of using it. further, the dial-in functions can be confusing -- and even when you know what you want, making a manual error is easy. all in all, the unit -- although it produced some great recordings -- was difficult. further, the md format never caught on to the degree i'd hoped. . It's great., love it. Great bulky product!, i've not used one so how can i make an assessment, like it, i like it..
