recording and playback of digital compact discs and analog cassettes, providing easy duplication facilities in both directions, and combining the most advanced technology in both fields. Additional audio units, both analog and digital, can be connected easily through the rear panel connections, allowing the recording of other sources. Additionally, the CC-222MKII is fitted with a dedicated phono connection, which eliminates the need for an additional RIAA-equipped amplifier when archiving vinyl recordings. TASCAM's legendary attention to detail provides a high-quality full-featured cassette tape deck, complete with Dolby noise reduction circuitry.1 24-bit digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters provide excellent recording and playback quality for the CD recorder. A sampling frequency converter is incorporated, allowing the recording of CDs from digital audio sources at 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz. 1.
