Remote Temperature Display
By using RF technology and simple Learn function, the Weather Station can receive remote signals from up to 4 Remote Transmitters (WT260) which can be placed indoor / outdoor wherever you desire within the transmission range. To enable the Weather Station to receive signals from each Remote Transmitter, identical House Code and different Channel Numbers must be assigned to each Remote Transmitter in use. Please follow the procedures below to set the Remote Transmitter(s) to work with the Weather Station.
The Setting mode will end after no key is pressed for 12 seconds. During the setting process, you may press the RESET button anytime to restart the setting process. After initial setting, please do not press the 2 buttons again. Otherwise the Learn procedure of the receiver will need to be repeated. After setting, the current temperature and humidity (WT260H only) will be displayed. The data will then be transmitted to the receiver every minute (Figure 9).

Setting the Remote Transmitter(s)
There are 2 buttons at the back of transmitter. Press the RESET button (right side) to start the setting procedure. House Code will be flashing with "01" as in Figure 7. If desired, press SET button (left side) to change the House Code. The range of House Codes are from "01" to "15". Make sure all transmitters in your system are set to the same House Code. The House Code will be confirmed if no key is pressed for 12 seconds.Channel Number will start to flash with "1" as in Figure 8.
Setting the Weather Station as Receiver
The Weather Station needs to execute the Learn function to identify the transmitters present and their transmission sequence. To start the Learn function, press and hold SNOOZE for 3 seconds. "RF THERMO" symbol will flash and a beep sound will indicate that the Learn function has been activated. The Weather Station will search for signals from Transmitter(s) nearby and use the first House Code received as its own House Code. Whenever a valid data is received, a beep will sound and the temperature and channel number will be displayed on the Right Display Box of the Weather Station as in Figure 10.
Local Temperature / Humidity Display
Initially, the local temperature of Weather Station will be displayed on the Display Box at the bottom left. To change from °C to °F display or vice versa, press the ST/SP key while the clock is displayed. Press SNOOZE to scroll through the displays of Current Temperature, Maximum T emperature (Figure 5) and Minimum Temperature recorded (Figure 6).
To scroll through the displays of Current T emperature, Maximum Temperature and Minimum T emperature from the Transmitter, press the SNOOZE key. If the remote temperature display starts to flash, it indicates that the signal is temporary lost. This may be due to interference from nearby electrical appliances or environment. You can wait for a while to see if the flashing will stop because most interference is temporary. Sometimes the signal received is too weak and you can try to move the Weather Station and/or Transmitter to a different location to have better reception of the signals. Flashing will stop once the signal is received by the Weather Station again. However, if flashing does not stop, it indicates that the Weather Station cannot receive signals from the Transmitter and the Learn function must be activated again.
C
C
If the remote temperature is not displayed on the Weather Station within 2 minutes after setting up, it is advised to relocate the positions of the devices or move the devices away from other electrical appliances as they may be subject to interference. If the problem persists, reset both devices again.
Maintenance
To avoid damage to the device, do not place the Weather Station or Transmitter in places where there is a risk of vibration or shock. Keep the Weather Station away from moisture and water. For both the Weather Station and the Transmitter, use batteries of recommended size only.

The Learn process will last for about 3 minutes. Whenever the setting of transmitter is changed or the battery of either transmitter or receiver is replaced, the Learn process needs to be executed again.
The symbol "LOCAL" will light up to indicate display of local temperature while the Channel Number under the Display Box will light up to indicate display of data from such Channel. To choose a particular display, release the CHANNEL key when such data is being shown. While CHANNEL is held, the House Code of the Weather Station will be displayed on the Upper Display Area (Figure 11).
5. If Left and Right boxes are set to the same channel and humidity data is available on that channel, then temperature will be displayed on the left box and humidity on the right box. 6. Whenever the Learn function is activated again, both Display boxes will return to their default displays.
Important Notes:
Transmissions of signals may be affected by external factors like atmospheric disturbance, extreme temperature or magnetic field emitted by electrical appliances nearby.
Choose a location within the transmission range where you wish to place the Transmitter. Avoid locations too close to metallic objects. Check if the data from Remote Transmitter can be received by the Weather Station from each of the selected locations. Then, mark the 2 screw positions on the wall through the holes of the holder with a pen. Drill holes into the wall at the marked positions. Attach the Holder onto the wall by the provided screws. Slide the Transmitter into the Holder until a clicking sound is heard. Alternatively, you can simply attach the Holder onto the wall by using double-sided adhesive tape.
