The key number is specified in the vehic le docum ents and in the C ar Pass 3. Alloy wheels 3, towing equip ment 3 : m ake a note of the key identifier cod es. If the luggage compartment is not opened within 5 m inutes, it is automatically loc ked again. Adjusting exterior m irrors: Four-way switch on driver's door Press switch for left or right hand mirror: four-way switch operates the corresp onding m irror. Vehicles with position memory 3 for driver's seat and mirror: If reverse gear is selected with the passenger side mirror switch pressed , the passenger side outside rear view mirror autom atic ally adjusts itself to p oint to the rear tyres as a parking aid (not when tow ing caravan/trailer). Swing in e xterior mirror: Manually: Press lightly. Electric 3 (both mirror switches must not b e latched into position): Push four-way switch to the right: outside rear view mirrors swivel in. Push four-w ay to the left: outside rear view mirrors swiv el out. The mirrors can a lso be swivelled in from the outside: Press button p on remote control or turn key toward rear of v ehicle in driver's door lock and hold. S wivelling only a llowed at speeds of up to 4 mph (7 km /h). 8 Fitting the s eat belt: Draw se at be lt smoothly from inertia ree l, guide over shoulder and engage in buckle The b elt must not be twisted at any point. The lap belt must lie snugly against the body. The backrest must not be tilted bac k too far (recomm ended tilting angle approx. 25°).
