Also, make sure that the total rating of all products plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse rating. 10. Never push objects of any kind into this product through the chassis slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. 11. Format and Configuration WD ShareSpace is preformatted for maximum reliability as a RAID 5 volume (for four-drive systems) or for maximum capacity as a single large, spanned volume (for two-drive systems). In RAID 5, one quarter of the capacity is used to store parity information needed to restore data in the event of a drive failure. In a spanned volume, the capacity is equal to the total of all drives in the volume.
