Changing parts If the LCD TV requires new parts, ask the technician for written proof the new parts are specified by the manufacturer and function are the same as the original parts. Safety inspection After the LCD TV is repaired, be sure to ask the technician (in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements) to conduct a routine safety inspection to make sure the LCD TV is safe. If the LCD TV has been used longer than its life, please contact qualified technician for repair. User's record You can find the serial number and model on the back of the LCD TV. The power consumption of the display is approximately 75 watts. When an extension cord is required, use one with the correct power rating. The cord must be grounded and the grounding feature must not be defeated. The product should be installed on a flat surface to avoid tipping. Space should be maintained between the back of the product and the wall for proper ventilation. If you would like to mount the TV to the wall, please see Preparing the LCD for Wall Mounting, for additional information. Avoid installing the product in the kitchen, bathroom or other place with high temperature or high humidity dust or smoke, so as not to shorten the service life of the electronic components. Please ensure the product is installed with the screen in landscape orientation. Suitable battery types for this remote are UM-4, AAA, IEC R03 1.5V. Do not combine a used, old battery with a new one or mix battery types. Remove dead batteries immediately to prevent acid from leaking into the battery compartment. Dispose of them in a designated disposal area. Connection Quality Cable and Connector Description Basic VHF/UHF. The video and audio signals are both carried in one cable. It is the only way to connect an antenna to your LCD TV. Good Composite. The video signal is carried through a single "pin." This connection method is the one that is most commonly found on devices. Better S-Video. The video signal is split into two signals, brightness and color. Text displayed on-screen through this connection will be noticeably sharper than composite or VHF/UHF. Component. The video signal is split into three signals, two color, and one brightness. Use component video to take advantage of the superior picture provided by signal sources such as SDTV and DVD. If the problems persist, contact your local dealer for further assistance. Problem There is no power. Check item Make sure AC power cord is securely connected to the AC socket. Make sure the DC power button is ON (Green LED). Check your audio connection. Press on the remote control again, so that disappears from the screen. Check your audio settings, your TV audio may be set to SAP or minimum. Press the Volume key on your remote control Make sure that headphones are not connected. There is no sound. Snow appears on screen. Check your antenna connection. Please check to see whether or not the video cable connected from your video equipment to your set is plugged firmly and correctly. Please make sure whether or not the display source is the one you selected by switching the button. Adjust brightness and contrast. Power is ON but no screen image. Wrong or abnormal colors appear. If any colors (red, green, or blue) are missing, check the video cable to make sure it is securely connected. Loose or broken pins in the cable connector could cause an improper connection. Make sure that the selected input source is connected to a working input source. The picture has abnormal patterns. Make sure that the video input source is within the range of your LCD TV.
