I SAVING USER DATA · As long as dry cell batteries are installed or the power adaptor is connected, the instrument retains the internal data when the power is turned off. If you remove the batteries and disconnect the adaptor, the data will be lost. Save important data to external media such as the Yamaha MDF3 MIDI data filer. Keep the power adaptor connected while you replace the batteries to prevent loss of data. Yamaha cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper use or modifications to the instrument, or data that is lost or destroyed. Always turn the power off when the instrument is not in use. When using a power adaptor, even when the power switch is in the "STANDBY" position, electricity is still flowing to the instrument at the minimum level. When you are not using the instrument for a long time, make sure you unplug the AC power adaptor from the wall AC outlet.
